Introducing: The Art of Dating – April 2024
A new 4-part series for single young adults (ages 21-35), aimed at rediscovering the lost art of dating. This series will span the month of April featuring one event per week, April 4, 12, 18, and 26. Each event starts at 6:30 pm. Attendance at every event is not required; however, it is highly encouraged. Here is what to expect:

Grieving with Great Hope – April 4
A 5-week grief support group starts after Easter on Thursday afternoons beginning April 4 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the Marion Room at Sacred Heart Parish in Colwich. The Bible Timeline 24-Week Bible Study – Staring April 17
This 24-part Bible Study featuring Jeff Cavins begins Wednesday, April 17 – September 25, 2024, 10:00 –11:30am at St. Paul University Parish at WSU 1810 N. Roosevelt St., Wichita. Register early, as class size is limited. The deadline to register is April 8. The Cost is $55/person or $75 for couples using a book. If you already have a workbook, the cost is $20. A Healing Day-Retreat on Recovering from Loss – April 20, St Mark Catholic Church, Colwich
This workshop helps couples understand how the trauma of child loss affects the family dynamic, while teaching them how to love each other through the complexity of child loss. The workshop also facilitates a safe space where couples can share their answers to vital questions that are pivotal in moving towards healing.

Check in is at 8:30am with the program beginning at 9:00am. The day will include lunch and will end with a Vigil Mass at 6:00pm. Senior Appreciation Mass and Lunch with Bishop Kemme, Thursday April 23, 10 am Cathedral
Thank you to all our retired adults for their continued stewardship to our parishes and diocese over the years.  We thank them for the sacrifices they made to keep our Catholic churches and schools open and supporting the many ministries in big and small ways over the years. We appreciate your longer periods of prayer and being role models of faith and stewardship to the younger generations of our church. We will also celebrate 34 years of Harvest House in our diocese and thank those who continue to help and support these and other senior groups in parishes. Catholic Engaged Encounters

Engaged Encounter Is a Catholic Christian marriage preparation program for couples seeking the Sacrament of Marriage. It is a weekend program free of the tensions, pressures, and interruptions of daily living. The program is based on Catholic teachings and values and emphasizes the couple relationship in terms of a lifetime commitment, utilizing tools for practical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
