April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month
National Child Abuse Prevention month recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect. Prevention services and supports developed by this collaboration can help to protect children and strengthen families. One of the things we can do to show our support for this month is to decorate or hand out pinwheels. Pinwheels are the sign for this month because they represent the whimsy of childhood and how all children should have a carefree life.
