Excellence in Our Schools

Three rural Catholic schools of the Diocese of Wichita have been awarded the Governor’s Achievement Award for Educational Excellence for scoring in the top 5 percent of all elementary schools in the state’s 2009 Kansas assessments. Diocesan superintendent Bob Voboril said, “There are very few, if any, other school districts that had three schools qualify for the Governor’s Award...I want to thank the pastors, parishioners, parents, administrators and teachers whose daily sacrifices make our Catholic schools so special.” |
We are Parish Schools

We are called to serve Catholic Schools
![]() |
“A Catholic school creates a greater potential for a young person to be formed as a Disciple of Christ and to grow in their knowledge of Jesus. And that knowledge then has the potential to lead to the decision to love the Lord Jesus, and everything follows from that. We are called to imitate Christ, and so your mission is to serve as Disciples of Christ and to form Disciples of Christ in imitation of his mind and heart.” |
