Volunteer to Help
The Lord’s Diner relies on volunteers and their gift of time and talent to achieve our mission of “Responding to Christ’s call to feed the hungry.
Volunteer
Groups are scheduled to serve on a regular basis once a month, depending on their size and availability of dates. Smaller groups and volunteers not affiliated with a larger group are matched with existing volunteer groups to “lend a hand” on a regular basis.
Daily preparatory shifts: 10:00am – 2:00pm / 7 days a week
Food truck support: 3:45 – 6:15pm / Monday-Friday
Brick and Mortar site location: 5:15 – 7:45pm / 7 days a week.
Current volunteers no longer need to renew existing food handlers cards. New volunteers are required to take an online class.
