Our volunteers are crucial to the success of the Special Olympics teams! If you are interested in becoming a Special Olympics volunteer, you are invited to fill out a volunteer application form and bring it with you to practice. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. If you are 18 years of age or older, you are required to be VIRTUS trained as well.

Contact the ministry to obtain a copy of the application form.

Young Athletes (Age 3-7)

This program opens the door for their participation in sports while welcoming family members to the Special Olympics support network. Utilizing up to 1 hour of “play opportunities”, the young children rotate between activity stations which focus on different motor skills (kicking, catching, throwing, etc.). They will have the additional benefit of praying together and being part of a faith community within a social setting.
