Important Message regarding Annual Mass for Life
On Thursday, October 5th, the Catholic Diocese of Wichita was notified by the City of Wichita that our Mass for Life and street closure for that Mass had been objected by more than 1/3 of the affected property owners. These objections came from Trust Women (5107 Kellogg Dr.) and Strategic Workspace and Event Center (5025 Kellogg Dr.) which now requires the matter to go before and be approved by the Wichita City Council. It is our hope that we have the opportunity to speak in front of City Council as it is important to express our religious liberties by praying in public. However, that will not happen before Saturday, October 7, the date of the Mass for Life. At this time, Bishop Carl A. Kemme will lead the Rosary at 9 a.m. and we as the Catholic faithful will continue to pray for those without a voice. All the faithful are invited to attend the rosary Saturday morning.
