The Diocese of Wichita is seeking an enthusiastic individual for a versatile position of weekend cook and truck driver for The Lord’s Diner. This individual will be accountable for the preparation of food on the weekend and for picking up donations. The Weekend Cook and Truck Driver position is a part-time position, 10-20 hours a week.
Position Requirements
• 2-3 years experience in food preparation for a commercial or industrial kitchen preferred.
• Good customer service skills required.
• Requires valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Must have good computer skills, the ability to work weekends and holidays
• Must demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills, be well organized and possess knowledge of, commitment to, and a desire to serve the hungry and the ability to serve diverse individuals.
• Bilingual ability a plus.
