The Diocese of Wichita is seeking an outstanding individual to serve as Administrative Assistant to the Vicar General/Moderator of the Curia and Director of Finance. This individual will perform administrative, clerical and office duties, including preparation of written communications, scheduling of meetings, taking minutes, and assisting with tracking of real estate and construction contracts.

Position Requirements

• Requires 3-5 years previous administrative, secretarial and general office experience in an office environment. Strongly prefer legal and/or accounting background.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage varied workloads.
• Ability to type 50-55 wpm with accuracy. Transcription experience preferred.
• Requires proficiency with Word. Prefer experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Practicing Catholic in good standing and an active steward in one’s parish preferred.
• Must exhibit a strict sense of confidentiality, professionalism, initiative and self-motivation
