SEAS Knights to play in Special Olympics fundraiser Feb. 10
The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Knights Council 10483 will host its fourth annual Special Olympics charity basketball game Sunday, Feb. 10, in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School gym, 645 N. 119th St. W. in Wichita.
All-Star SEAS Knights will take on the Wichita Independent Special Olympics basketball team at 4:30 p.m.
Last year's game raised almost $2,200 to help send 180 athletes and coaches to the annual two day state Special Olympics basketball tournament in Hays.
The Bishop Carroll cheerleaders will perform at the game. Admission to the game, door prizes, and concessions are all by free will offering.

Lenten family retreat March 9-10 at Siena
A Lenten family retreat will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 9-10, at Saint Catherine of Siena’s Parish Education Center in Wichita.
The Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and Fr. Thomas Haake, an Oblate of the Virgin Mary from Rome, will be presenting as well as leading sessions for children of different ages. The retreat will include several talks about the Holy Spirit, Mass and adoration.
Registration until Feb. 15 is $25/single, $40/couple, $75/family; and $35/single, $50/couple, $90/family afterward.

Family Fun Night Feb. 9 at Garden Plain
St. Anthony’s Prolife Outreach is hosting its annual Family Fun Night from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at St. Anthony of Padua Parish Hall in Garden Plain.
A donation of a baby item or cash is requested at the door. The evening will include games for kids, dancing, raffles, live and silent auctions, and light snacks. A donation beverage bar will also be available.
St. Anthony’s Prolife Outreach helps “Mothers in Need” and their babies by giving them clothes, diapers, food, and other supplies. It also supplies baby items to organizations such as Harbor House, Catholic Charities, A Better Choice and Rainbows United.

3on3 basketball tournament March 23
The St. Catherine of Siena Third Annual 3on3 Basketball Tournament will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23.
The tournament will begin with Mass at 7:30 a.m. Team introductions and tournament play will follow at about 8 a.m.
The event is a 16-team co-ed tournament. Participants must be 18 years or older. The tournament is “semi-competitive.” Baskets by a man count for one point, two points by a woman. Teams play to 15 points and must win by two. There is a 20-minute time limit.
The fee to play is $50 per team and includes three team T-shirts. Additional shirts may be ordered for $10 each. The minimum roster is three, the maximum is five. Prizes are to be determined.

Monthly bingo at Sacred Heart Parish in Colwich, Feb. 3
Monthly cash bingo will be held beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, in the Religious Education Building at Sacred Heart Parish in Colwich.
Doors open at 1 p.m. The suggested donation is $3 for one card for all 21 games, or $8 for three cards for all games. Snacks and desserts will be available.

Tied comforter bingo Feb. 17 at St. Mark’s
The St. Mark Altar Society will host its Tied Comforter Bingo Sunday, Feb. 17, in the parish hall.
Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. Bingo begins at 1 o’clock. Bierocks, chips, homemade pies, and drinks will be served.
