Bushton annual fall dinner Sunday, Oct. 22
Holy Name Catholic Church in Bushton will host its annual Fall Dinner Sunday, Oct. 22, at the Bushton Community Center, located on the north side of Bushton. A roast beef dinner will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
This year’s event also will include a traditional raffle with over 50 items and featuring a queen-size quilt as the grand prize, plus a special children’s raffle featuring a Little Tikes toy truck as the grand prize. In addition, there will be a cake wheel and numerous children’s games.
The cost of the meal, including a salad bar and pie, is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 through 12, and free for those 5 and under.

Vocations presentation Oct. 25 in Hutchinson
A panel of speakers will share stories about how they were called to the priesthood or the religious life at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, in the Trinity High School Auditorium in Hutchinson.
Sharing their vocation stories will be Father Chad Arnold, Father Aaron Spexarth, Sister Mary Faustina, and Dave Sotelo.
The event is sponsored by the Serra Club of Reno County.

Andover parish to host murder mystery musical for Lord’s Diner
Blinded by the Light, an original murder mystery rock and roll musical event to benefit The Lord’s Diner will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Andover Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27 and 28.
The presentation from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday is a casual event with light appetizers and beer and wine. Saturday’s grand event will begin at 6 p.m. The night will start off with appetizers and a silent auction, followed by dinner, a high energy live auction, and the highlight of the night, Blinded by the Light, the murder mystery musical.
Among the items available is a one week stay at a beautiful mountain home with breathtaking views in Crested Butte, Colorado.
Tickets for Friday’s Preview Party are $15. Tickets for Saturday evening are $75 each or $450 for a table of six. They may be purchased by calling Michele at St. Vincent de Paul at 316-733-1423.

Holy Spirit bazaar, craft show Nov. 11
GODDARD – The Church of the Holy Spirit Altar Society is seeking vendors to showcase their goods at the 13th Annual Spirit Bazaar and Craft Show.
The show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, in the new addition of the Church of the Holy Spirit, on the east side of Goddard on U.S. 54.

St. Jude looking for Nov. 18 show vendors
WICHITA – The St. Jude Parent Teacher Organization is soliciting vendors for an arts and crafts show Saturday, Nov. 18.

Bingo Nov. 5 at Sacred Heart Parish, Colwich
Cash bingo games will be held beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, in the Religious Education Building at Sacred Heart Parish in Colwich.
The doors open at 1 p.m. The suggested donation is $3 per card per game or $8 for three cards for all 21 games.
Cash prizes are 17 games at $15, 2 games at $30, one game at $50 and one game at $150.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the priests and the seminarians of the Diocese of Wichita.

Catacomb Walk set for Oct. 29 at SEAS
The 2nd Annual Catacomb Walk will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Wichita.
The faithful are invited to tour tombs of the past to learn about the truth of All Hallows Eve.

St. Jude K. of C. breakfast Oct. 22
WICHITA – The St. Jude Parish Knights of Columbus will host a pro-life breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, in the parish hall at 3030 N. Amidon.
The Knights will accept donations for their menu of ham, eggs, and pancakes.
