Safe Haven Sunday-March 30-31, 2019
Safe Haven Sunday is an initiative inspired
by the United States Conference of
Catholic Bishops' formal statement Create
in Me a Clean Heart: A Pastoral Response
to Pornography. Safe Haven Sunday is a
weekend set aside within the liturgical
calendar by the Diocese to directly address
the societal harms of pornography. Within
the context of the Mass, parishes will be
able to provide teaching and resources that
will support and protect individuals,
marriages, and families in making all homes
a safe haven. Please direct any questions
to Jake Samour, Office of Marriage
and Family Life at 316-685-5240.
