Bishop Kemme will reflect on Christ’s call to become “fully alive” as missionary disciples in the Diocese of Wichita and will talk about his vision for the diocese and his pastoral priorities at the Catholic Assembly for Business quarterly breakfast Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the Spiritual Life Center in Wichita.
The Catholic Assembly for Business was formed in 2015 as a ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Wichita to serve the unique spiritual, social, and vocational needs of Catholic Professionals.
CAB member J.V. Johnston said the meetings allow “Christian and Catholic business persons to get together, hear an inspiring message, and network with each other.”
Steve Gebert, said, “When I attend the breakfasts, it is a place where we all seek to collaborate with like-minded, working Catholics in order to give and receive the wisdom of how to apply the principals of the faith in our individual workplaces every day.”
The three pillars of CAB:
• Vision: to bring about a spirit of faithfulness, service, and virtue in the business world by forming individuals and infusing Catholic principles into the local professional culture.
• Mission: to inspire and equip Catholic business professionals to be “Fully Alive as Missionary Disciples” of Christ to make a difference at home, at work, and in their communities..
• Goals: are to provide formation, community, and opportunity.
