First Communion Children Invited to National Eucharistic Procession

Jesus is coming through the Diocese of Wichita this summer as part of the 2025 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage!  The pilgrimage is an opportunity to join Catholics from across the country in praise of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament as He makes His way from Indianapolis to Los Angeles.

Children who have received their First Holy Communion this year are invited to participate in the Diocesan Mass and Procession on Wednesday, May 28.  It is traditional to have children in their First Communion garments walk in front of the Blessed Sacrament during the procession.  Mass will be held at 9 am at the Cathedral, followed by a procession to City Hall for prayer and benediction.  We will end at the Cathedral around 11 am.  All families are asked to meet in Good Shepherd Hall at the Cathedral between 8:30-8:45 am.
