Marriage on Tap

An event for connection, community, and
conversation over faith, marriage, and family life
for engaged and newly married couples.

Marriage on Tap is a new initiative of the Catholic Diocese of Wichita that launched in January 2024, created especially for engaged couples and newly married couples (married less than five years). These free quarterly events are designed to foster community, inspire faith, and encourage couples as they start their journey of married life.
 
What to Expect
Each Marriage on Tap evening offers:
  • A relaxed, fun environment
  • Complimentary food and drinks
  • A short, heartfelt reflection on marriage and family by a Catholic couple
  • Time to meet other couples, share stories, and grow in fellowship
This initiative is made possible through a matching grant between the Diocese of Wichita and the Catholic Marriage Initiative (CMI).

Why Marriage on Tap?

Marriage and family life is a blessing—but it isn’t always easy. One of the most significant challenges couples face is feeling isolated or unsure of where to turn when difficulties arise. Marriage on Tap creates space for connection, reminding couples that they are not alone and that the Church walks with them through every stage of their journey.
 
By bringing couples together, we hope to:
– Nurture friendships and make new ones
– Help couples connect more deeply with their parish community
– Build lasting relationships with the wider Diocesan Catholic family

We believe that when couples are rooted in faith, surrounded by support, and connected to a broader community, they are better equipped to thrive in marriage.
