Mr and Mrs John Murray of San Francisco, attended the ordination of their nephew, Father Kieran Murray. Mrs Murray is president of the National Council of Catholic Women of the San Francisco Archdiocese.

Father Murray’s arrival to the Wichita Diocese was delayed because of an emergency appendectomy. However, when he arrived, Bishop Mark K. Carroll sent him on to Dodge City for his assignments.
