Grief and Healing
Connect with parish-based support groups, bereavement ministries, retreats, and counseling services. Drawing from Pope Francis’s guidance, these resources provide the light of faith to the grieving, accompanying the process through prayer, interior liberation, and renewed mission.
Pope Francis in Dilexit nos (37-38) comforts those wounded by betrayal: Jesus whispers, “Take heart, son!” (Mt 9:2) and “Take heart, daughter!” (Mt 9:22), urging us to trust Him fearlessly, for with Him we have nothing to lose. He awaits to illuminate, uplift, and strengthen us, promising His disciples: “I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you” (Jn 14:18-19). Jesus always finds a way to be present.
