Most of the seminarians of the Diocese of Wichita were available for a recent photo at an event at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Wichita. There are 43 seminarians studying this year for the diocese. At the left of Bishop Carl A. Kemme is Fr. Garett Burns, director of Vocations Promotion. Fr. Chad Arnold, the director of Seminarians, is to the right of the bishop. The college seminarians are part of the St. Joseph House of Formation located on the campus of St. Joseph Parish in Wichita. They study philosophy at Newman University. The seminarians in theology studying for master’s degrees are at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, Mundelein Seminary near Chicago, or Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
