Program Coordinator/Translator - Hispanic Ministry

The Diocese of Wichita is seeking an outstanding individual to serve as Program Coordinator/Translator for the Office of Hispanic Ministry. This individual will work directly with the Director in carrying out the mission of the office. Duties will include translation and interpretation of documents for the office and other Diocesan offices, administrative duties, and coordination and facilitation of projects/events to reach out to the Diocesan Hispanic community.

Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or three to five years of experience working in Hispanic Ministry
- Practicing Catholic who is an active and faithful steward in one’s parish
- Requires bilingual skills with fluency and literacy in Spanish and English
- Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and related MS Office software
- Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role
- Sincere sensitivity and discernment of Hispanic culture.
- Ability to travel, work evenings and weekends as necessary
