The Promotora advocates for the patient to understand health care goals and assure continuity of care and follow up. This position assists patients with referrals/resources for quality-of-life needs.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Previous Medical Office experience preferred.
• Requires the ability to embrace and personify the mission of Guadalupe Clinic with socio-economic and cultural sensitivity in mind. (As missionary disciples of Christ and with other people of goodwill, Guadalupe Clinic works to provide access to quality healthcare for people in need.)
• Must possess good verbal, written and telephone communication skills and maintain a strict sense of confidentiality as it pertains to client information and medical records.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Requires computer proficiency.
