The Lord's Diner, Pittsburg, Kansas is seeking to fill a 25-30 hour position. If you have a passion for helping and working with people, and a positive attitude, we would love for you to join the Lord's Diner Team. This individual will assist in the kitchen, with volunteers, and in the dining area.
Position Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent. College education helpful.
• Restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience working with volunteers.
• Experience working with low-income population preferred.
• Requires excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and to relate to people of diverse situations.
• Strong desire to serve the poor.
• Requires experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
