The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church has an immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Technician. This person will be responsible for overseeing all preventative maintenance and repair of various Church, Building and Rectory systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, custodial operations, carpentry, painting, sprinkler systems, and mowing equipment.
The preferred candidate will have a high school degree with good written and oral communication skills. Prior experience in working with the many facets of maintenance and landscaping is required. The candidate must be able to handle power tools and equipment, have the ability to work around heights and confined spaces, and the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. Proficiency with computer based HVAC systems is desired. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, training, and certification.
