In Response to Kansas Supreme Court Ruling
Today, the Kansas Supreme Court dealt a huge blow to all pro-life efforts undertaken over the past 40 years. The ruling now guarantees a constitutional right to an abortion and overturns the law of our State banning the gruesome and cruel dismemberment of unborn children. It’s ironic that other states are adopting laws that limit abortion on demand and protect the rights of the unborn, while our state is sadly going backward. All of us who believe that life begins at conception and that unborn children are endowed with the inalienable rights that the rest of humanity enjoy, must work doubly hard now to bring forth such a culture of life that these decisions will one day be overturned.
