Scout Day of Reflection Nov. 21 in St. Joe gym
WICHITA – The Catholic Committee on Scouting will host a Day of Reflection/Retreat Saturday, Nov. 21 to help scouts working on the Ad Altare Dei and Marian Medals.
The day will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the gym of St. Joseph Parish, 132 S. Millwood. The cost is $5 and includes everything except lunch.
Participants will be able to have lunch at one of the nearby fast food restaurants. Those attending are also asked to wear athletic shoes for use in the gym.

Adults bringing the youth are encouraged to stay and participate with the youth and will have some separate time for their own development.

YABE Ministry seeking volunteer program cochairman
Young Adult Beginning Experience, a Christian ministry for young adult children of divorced, widowed, or separated parents, is seeking a volunteer willing to give time and talent to assume responsibility as ministry co-chair.
Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, promoting the YABE ministry and working with the international office in fulfilling our ministry commitments.
Interested individuals must have a desire to help young adults on their journey toward healing and growth involving their grief experience associated with the impact of parental divorce, death, or separation.
