YOU Are the Now & Future Church
Catholic youth ministry recognizes high school age youth as current, active leaders in the church. And, as active as you are in the church now, how much MORE informed, active and effective will you be when you are serving as our priests, religious, parents, teachers and lay leaders in the future!

How can you get more involved?

• Check with your pastor and/or parish secretary to find out if there is an active youth ministry in your parish
• If so, get busy! You can volunteer for a number of leadership positions and responsibilities within the youth ministry and also within the parish. You will play a huge role in deciding what kinds of activities and opportunities your parish will provide for high school age youth.
• If no ministry currently exists, you may want to work with your pastor and/or the Director of Religious Education and/or Confirmation catechists to begin to identify some adults who would be good partners in creating a youth ministry for your parish.
