At Camp Totus Tuus, one of the only Catholic summer camps in the state of Kansas, Catholic youth will have an intense week of great fun and fellowship with other Catholic youth from across the Diocese of Wichita and the Midwest while experiencing the power and riches of the Catholic Faith.

The camp “curriculum” is a well balanced combination of learning, prayer, and fun. Presentations by counselors, small group discussions, and group activities provide an exceptional learning environment for youth with a wide range of learning disciplines. These learning sessions provide opportunities for the youth to discover more about God, themselves, and their peers.

The primary and fundamental focus of Camp Totus Tuus is the development of the youths’ spiritual lives and their ability to hear God’s call in their life. Holy Mass, Adoration, Confession, the Liturgy of the Hours, the Rosary, and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy are the foundation of camp. Prayer is central to the mission of the Church; as such, Camp Totus Tuus infuses this concept within the youth.

However, because this is a summer camp and not school, fun is equally important and necessary. Games and activities such as Totus Tuus Olympics, swimming, canoeing, skits, and Catechetical Jeopardy keep the atmosphere relaxed yet exciting and allow young people of all interests and abilities to take part and enjoy.

Founded in 1996, Camp Totus Tuus is for youth entering the 5th through 12th grades and is held on campgrounds just south of Lyons, Kansas.
