"My parents were supportive of my vocation. From my youth they cultivated my vocation by working to make sure that I would be ready for whatever God had planned for me. They always told me that I would do great things. They also inspired my vocation by living a great example of service. My parents were always very active in stewardship for whatever parish we were in. They showed me how to live a life of service. So, when the time came to decide whether or not I would enter the seminary, I was ready to say yes and live a life of service for others. They inspired me to want to help others. There is no better way to serve people than as a priest."
