After the Gift is a weekend retreat sponsored by the Respect Life and Social Justice Ministry that celebrates the Birthmom, honoring life and choice.

Beginning Experience

The purpose of Beginning Experience is to facilitate the grief resolution process for adults and children who have suffered a loss through death, divorce or separation, thereby enabling them to again love themselves, others and God.

Cursillo

In the Cursillo Movement, we approach evangelization as a very natural act of being Christlike within each of our daily activities. We realize that while most people would like to live their lives in a Christ-like manner, the pressures of the world often make this difficult. The Cursillo Movement provides a method and a technique to provide each of us with the tools, the mentality, the strength, and the support to make this natural type of evangelization possible.

Engaged Encounter

Catholic Engaged Encounter is a Christian marriage preparation program for couples seeking the Sacrament of Marriage. It is a weekend program free of the tensions, pressures, and interruptions of daily living. The program is based on Catholic teachings and values and emphasizes the couple relationship in terms of a lifetime commitment, utilizing tools for practical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Marriage Encounter

For couples married five or more years, Marriage Encounter is a weekend retreat designed to help renew a couple’s love through communication, intimacy and a deeper understanding of the sacrament that unites them. The weekend is free from everyday routines, distractions and tensions. An atmosphere is created where the couple can concentrate exclusively on one another in a private and confidential environment.

Retrouvaille

The word Retrouvaille (pronounced re-tro-vi with a long i.) is a French word meaning rediscovery. The program offers tools needed to rediscover a loving marriage relationship. Thousands of couples headed for cold, unloving relationships or divorce have successfully overcome their marriage problems by attending the program.

The weekend is hosted by a team of youth and adults, including a priest of the diocese. Throughout the weekend and in sharing the sacraments, candidates have the opportunity to grow in their relationship with the Lord and learn more about their Catholic faith.

Young Adult Beginning Experience
