Centering Prayer Group

~  Mondays, 9:30-11:00 am, Private Retreat Wing  Centering Prayer, a method of silent prayer, is based on Jesus' Sermon on the Mount (Matt: 6:6): "...But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door and pray to your Father in secret and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you." It is also inspired by writings of major contributors to the Christian contemplative heritage including the Desert Fathers and Mothers, John Cassian, Francis de Sales, Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross, Therese of Lisieux and Thomas Merton.  You are welcome to join us anytime. Cursillo

In the Cursillo Movement, we approach evangelization as a very natural act of being Christlike within our daily activities. The pressures of the world often make living a Christ-like life difficult. The Cursillo Movement provides a method and a technique to provide each of us with the tools, the mentality, the strength, and the support to make this natural type of evangelization possible.
