Dr. David Wall presents this Lenten Series which focuses on the foundations of our Catholic Faith in six engaging and informative sessions.  Great for catechists, catechumens, and anyone wanting to know more about Catholicism!


Brown Baggin' It with Jesus

Fridays of Lent  12:10 p.m. - 12:50 p.m.

Fr. Ken VanHaverbeke leads this popular Lenten lunchtime series for adult Catholics to learn more about their faith. This year’s series will focus on The Mass. Participants will learn about the actions, the words and the practical implications for each of us.

All are invited, Catholic and non-Catholic alike.    Don’t forget to bring your brown bag lunch, or you can call ahead (316) 744-0167 and reserve a lunch.

Oremus: A Guide to Catholic Prayer (9 weeks)

Mondays beginning Mar. 10; 9:30-11 a.m.

We all desire an intimate relationship with God. Learn to move beyond a rote recitation of prayers that we learned as children to an authentic conversation with Him. Video presentations by Fr. Mark Toups followed by group discussion.  $25



Series: Vocal and Mental Prayer: What do I do now? (3 weeks)

Tuesdays beginning Mar. 11; 6-8 p.m.; Marcelline Arnold presents

This series is all about prayer: what it is and how to do it.  Participants will learn the basics of prayer and several different styles of both vocal and mental prayer.  There will be time for the actual practice of the techniques followed by Q&A. $20




Book Study: Jesus of Nazareth: Pt II (6 weeks)

Wednesdays beginning Mar. 12; 6:30-7:30 a.m.

Join us for a round table reading and discussion of Pope Benedict XVI’s book focusing on Jesus’ activity from Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday. $30 includes book and study guide.



Series: Mary - The Church at the Source (3 weeks)

Tuesdays beginning Mar. 25; 7-8 p.m.

Many Catholics don’t know all the Church teaches about our Blessed Mother.  This three-part class is based on Marian doctrines as well as the mysteries of the rosary. Participants will be invited to reflect on the person of Mary and her role in the economy of salvation. Donations accepted.




The Passion According to John

Tuesday, Apr. 15; 7-8:30 p.m.; Dr. David Wall presents

Join us for this pre-Triduum event as Dr. Wall helps us to bring out the meaning of the Passion narrative that we will hear and proclaim on Good Friday.  St. John gives us a wealth of historical, theological and sacramental insight into the true significance of Christ’s Passion. Donations accepted.

Fridays of Lent at 3:30 p.m.; Good Friday at 3:00 p.m.

Join us in the foyer and then process outside to the Stations of the Cross. Enjoy the weather and this beautiful devotion simultaneously!


Stations of the Cross by Torchlight

Saturday, April 12; 8:30-10 p.m.

Process through our beautiful outdoor Stations of the Cross by torchlight to usher in Palm Sunday. Bring your flashlights with you. We will meet in the foyer around 8:15 p.m. Bring your friends to this wonderful Lenten Devotion! Event is Free! No registration necessary!
