Join us for Morning Prayer, Monday thru Saturday at 7:15 a.m. in the Chapel of Mary, the First Disciple.

The prayer takes about 15 minutes and is preceded by Exposition of Blessed Sacrament generally from 6:45 a.m. - 7:15 a.m.

All are welcome!  Centering Prayer: Mondays at 9:30 a.m., Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.

“Centering Prayer is a method of prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of God's presence, traditionally called contemplative prayer,” explains Dan Rensel, coordinator of the weekly Centering Prayer group that meets here.  “It emphasizes prayer as a personal relationship with God and is drawn from the ancient prayer practices of St. John of the Cross, St. Teresa of Avila and others.”

First Friday Devotions at the Spiritual Life Center prior to the 11:15 a.m. Mass

The First Friday of each month has been designated as a day to be consecrated to the honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  Devotions have traditionally included: Confession, Litany of the Sacred Heart, Act of Reparation, Act of Consecration, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and the Celebration of Mass.

Beginning with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 10:30am with the opportunity for Confession, First Friday Devotions at the SLC are then followed by the traditional prayers and the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 11:15am.  All then are welcomed to remain for lunch (RSVP necessary for lunch).
