Hutchinson Knights to host dinner Jan. 28
Hutchinson’s Knights of Columbus Council 612 will host its 77th annual German sausage and sauerkraut dinner from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28.
The dinner will be served at Trinity Catholic High School located at 17th and Lorraine.
All proceeds will be used for Trinity or other charities.

Holy Cross hosting garage sale Jan. 27
Holy Cross Catholic School in Hutchinson will host a Community Garage Sale in the Holy Cross Gym from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 27.
The school is soliciting items for the event which will benefit the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Fr. Stuchlik Education Fund, both of which provide assistance to needy families.
Gently used shoes will be sold in the “Drexel Shoe Store” to raise money for the St. Katharine Catholic School Drexel Fund to assist parishes that struggle financially to carry out the mission of Catholic education in a parish school.
Items solicited: gently used shoes, toys, coats, home decor, books, jewelry, household items, holiday decorations, kitchenware, and fishing and camping gear. Clothing, large appliances, or electronics will not be accepted.
Items may be dropped off between 3 and 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Jan. 24-26.

Valentine’s Day dinner, dance Feb. 10 at St. Jude Parish, Wichita
A Valentine’s Dinner and Dance sponsored by the St. Jude Knights of Columbus will take place from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday Feb. 10, in St. Jude’s Parish Hall, 3030 N. Amidon in Wichita.

Event Jan. 20 to feature prayers for life in five languages
A pro-life rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet will be recited in five languages beginning at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, in All Saints Church in Wichita.
The faithful are invited to join as one body in Christ for the event to lift up their prayer to fight the culture of death and to pray for all its victims.
The event is sponsored by the All Saints Respect Life group.

Musicians workshop Jan. 20 in Augusta
A Liturgical Musicians Workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at St. James Church in Augusta.

Danville Knights help family in need at breakfast
The Danville Knights of Columbus have raised $4,800 for medical expense for Briane Ede, a member of St. Joan of Arc Parish, Harper.
The Knights hosted a pancake and sausage breakfast on Jan. 13. Twenty-five brother Knights served over 300 people for the fundraiser.
