Medical Volunteer Coordinator, Guadalupe Clinic

Guadalupe Clinic, Inc. of the Catholic Diocese of Wichita is seeking an exceptional individual to serve as Medical Volunteer Coordinator. This individual is expected to work 20-25 hours per week and will be responsible for recruitment, coordination, scheduling and recognition of Guadalupe Clinic Medical Volunteer Providers and Nurses. The position reports to the Director of Nursing and the Executive Director.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Understanding and support of the mission of Guadalupe Clinic, Inc.: To provide access to necessary health care to those in need; to work for social justice in health care, to call the entire Church and other people of goodwill to join in these efforts.
  • Ability to communicate with and engage medical and nursing volunteers.
  • Experience working with volunteers preferred.
  • Requires the professional skills to work with medical and nursing volunteers providing care to patients in the clinic.
  • Demonstrated capability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with clients, staff and volunteers with a variety of cultural backgrounds.
