The Diocese of Wichita is seeking an outstanding individual to serve as Database Assistant for the Office of Development and Planned Giving.  Responsibilities include maintenance and update of a collaborative database serving our major ministries; processing contributions and preparing acknowledgements and receipts; ensuring accuracy of gift data entry; creating reports, queries and exports; and assisting in circulation for our diocesan newspaper.

 Position Requirements

  • High School Education or equivalent work experience in development or related field
  • Practicing Catholic with thorough knowledge and lived experience of stewardship preferred

  • Ability to prioritize and complete assignments on time while managing multiple projects, often with shifting priorities, as part of a team or independently.

  • Proficiency in Excel and experience working in a database, The Raiser’s Edge preferred

  • Flexibility and willingness to adjust job duties within the department in order to more efficiently respond to database needs of diocesan entities

  • Emphasis on accuracy and consistency

  • Ability to maintain a strict sense of confidentiality

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills

  • Desire to serve others in a support role for mission-driven agencies by creating opportunities for charitable giving

The Medical Assistant works to assist the medical providers (physicians, physician assistants and advanced practice registered nurses), the nursing staff and volunteers, in the provision of care to the patients of Guadalupe Clinic.  This position is supervised and reports to the Director of Nursing and the Executive Director. This is a Full Time position 30-40 hours per week.   



Must understand, support and promote the mission of Guadalupe Clinic, Inc. (To provide access to necessary health care to those in need; to work for social justice in health care, to call the entire Church and other people of goodwill to join in these efforts).

  • Training in the technical and clinical skills pertaining to the practice of a Medical Assistant preferred.

  • Must possess professional communication skills and writing ability and maintain a strict sense of confidentiality required as it pertains to patient/clinic information and medical records.

  • Must be able to relate well with patients, staff and volunteers from a variety of cultural and economic backgrounds.

  • English/Spanish fluency is preferred.

  • Experience working in a medical office is preferred.

  • Must understand the need to be flexible in order to meet the changing needs of the clinic patients and staff.
