It is the policy of the Catholic Diocese of Wichita that salary or bonus not be given in lieu of benefits. Benefits are provided for the health and welfare of employees and their families. Additionally, participation by employees in health insurance is discretionary, and therefore is not considered part of the employee’s taxable compensation.
