The St. Maria De Mattias Endowment has been established to benefit Religious Education in the Diocese of Wichita.

The primary purpose of the fund is to encourage and support the creation of innovative programs and resources to evangelize and catechize adults and children into a lived Catholic Faith.

In keeping with the Diocesan Endowment Policy spending guidelines and recent declines in the market, grant applications for the St. Maria De Mattias Endowment have been suspended. We will be reviewing the status of the endowment and will communicate on this site when we will reconvene our regular cycles.

Who benefits from the St. Maria De Mattias Endowment?

• Parishes and Catholic organizations who receive grants from the endowment
• The trained catechists who will benefit from grants through the endowment
• Children across the Diocese who are formed by Parish School of Religion programs receiving support from the endowment
• Adults across the Diocese who participate in Catholic formation programs that receive support from the endowment
