NEED TO KNOW NOW:

W-2 Form: 

Please be on the look-out for the form from the Office of Accounting that needs to be completed for the preparation of your W-2 form for your 2017 Tax Return.  As soon as you receive the form, please complete it and mail it back as soon as possible.  The Office of Accounting needs to send each priest his W-2 by January 31.  Thank you for your assistance in completing this task.

Three Masses for the Repose of the Soul of Fr. James Spexarth:

Please remember to offer the three customary Masses for the repose of the soul of our brother, Fr. James Spexarth.  Fr. James will be buried in a private ceremony with family present.  Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord.  May his soul and the souls of all of the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Monday, January 15 - Gift for Bishop-Elect Shawn McKnight:

Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Spiritual Life Center

This workshop will offer practical ideas of how to increase stewardship participation in the parish with topics such as:  how to create year-round stewardship awareness; communication; community building; tithing and the Sunday offerings; and the history of stewardship in the diocese.  We will also address the threats to stewardship such as complacency, lack in inspiration, failure of formation, and lack of lay leadership really leading.  No reservations necessary, just come!


"Same Sex Attraction: A Pastoral Response"

How do we respond as a priest faithful to the gospel and the magisterium, when someone confides in you that he or she is struggling with homosexuality?  As a representative of Christ, we want to respond with gentleness, patience, understanding, and fidelity to the truth.  This presentation will discuss how we can best respond and offer practical resources for the priest.
