Prayers for Fr. Sean O'Shea and Fr. Daryl Befort:

Fr. O'Shea is now recovering in the Post Acute Care Unit at the Catholic Care Center in Wichita where he is undergoing physical therapy.  Fr. Daryl Befort had two stints placed on Thursday morning and a third stint placed Friday afternoon.  He was discharged from the hospital on Saturday morning and will spend a few days recuperating at his parents' home in Ark City.

Humboldt Gathering on Tuesday:

Join Fr. Tom Scaletty and the brothers in Southeast Kansas for the monthly gathering of priests at St. Joseph Rectory in Humboldt.  Confessions are at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch at noon, conversation and cards.

October Mass Counts:

How to Increase Stewardship Participation in Your Parish

Fr. Ken VanHaverbeke, our Director of the Office of Stewardship, is hosting two dates for the workshop entitled, “How to Increase Stewardship Participation in Your Parish.”  These workshops will be offered at the Spiritual Life Center on Thursday, October 12 and Thursday, October 26.  Choose the workshop date that works best in your calendar. This workshop begins at 10:00 a.m. and concludes at 2:00 p.m.  Fr. Ken will offer practical and proven ways of how to increase stewardship participation in the parish.  These workshops are offered at as a perfect refresher course on stewardship in the midst this year's stewardship renewal.  Lunch will be included.  Cost is $10.  Click here to register online.
