A “Marriage-Builders” conference June 23-26 in Cincinnati, Ohio, will be hosted by the National Association of Catholic Family Life Ministers.
Judith Leonard, director of the diocesan Office of Family Life and Natural Family Planning, is recommending a marriage building conference for parish marriage ministries.

The National Association of Catholic Family Life Ministers, a professional association, has recognized that much of the ministry to families has moved into our Catholic parishes. Lay Ministers and Catechetical Leaders are providing resources, programs and workshops within the parish for the enrichment of parishioners.
Here are some of the topics to be covered: Marriage Preparation, Marriage Enrichment, Programs in Spanish and other languages, FOCCUS, Remarriage, Divorce Ministry, Ministry to single parents, Family Systems workshops, Resources, Step Family Materials, Senior Adult Ministry, Singles Ministry, and Young Adult Ministry.
Leonard is a member of the national board of the association.
