Sister Ursula Fotovich, CSJ had the opportunity to participate in a Mission Trip to Kenya Africa February 10 – 23, 2011 that was sponsored by the National Office of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith. Ten Diocesan Directors from the United Stated participated in this trip. They were hosted by the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers in Nairobi, Kenya during their stay. The group was able to attend Eucharist in an urban church, a rural church and a celebration with the Pontifical Mission Childhood Day with 33,000 children present.
"We visited a slum area close to the urban church and a home for boys who are street children. The visit was very enlightening and informative," said Sr. Ursula.
