Lenten Retreats are offered each year for persons with disabilities, their families and friends. Persons with disabilities are matched with volunteers as friends to assist them.

Presentations, crafts, music and Mass center on a common theme for the day.

The Knights of Columbus and others donate, prepare and serve lunch for the retreat.

2012 Lenten Retreat dates:

March 10 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Wichita

March 24 at Holy Name Parish, Coffeyville

A Lenten retreat for the deaf will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at the Magnificat Center, 3700 E. Lincoln, Wichita, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Sr. Joan Burger, CSJ, will lead group reflection on the Lenten theme: Life, Death and Resurrection. Registration information will be sent in February 2012.
