What is TOGETHER?

TOGETHER is a vision for the future growth of our Diocese.

The word "TOGETHER" reflects the reality of who we are, and it represents the potential of what we can and should become. We are all members of the Body of Christ, children in the family of God, a community of believers. Just as we are members of parish families, we are part of a diocesan family and the universal Church.

"We gather" specifically refers to the assembly gathered in church for worship especially on Sundays. We go from that assembly to carry out the mission of the Church.

"We learn" refers to the teaching and learning in the Church's evangelical mission to form Disciples of Christ.

"We serve" refers to every Christian's call to serve. The glory of God is when we serve to benefit others.

The TOGETHER vision includes a special appeal that invited everyone to support seminarian education, Catholic formation programs and the renovation of our Cathedral campus.
