Speaker's Bio: James and his wife Catherine grew up in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. They have been married for ten years and have two children; Michael age 9 and Cecilia age 7. James attended Franciscan University of Steubenville in Steubenville, Ohio where he earned both his bachelors and masters degrees. James’ major area of study was theology and catechetics. He has served the Church in various catechetical ministries including high school teaching, youth ministry, adult faith formation, RCIA, and sacramental preparation. James has taught catechetics at the diocesan and university levels. In addition to formal catechetical instruction, James speaks at youth retreats, adult days of reflection and parish ministry events. Currently, James is an Instructor and Co-Chair of the Religion Department at Bishop Carroll Catholic High School as well as an adjunct Instructor for Newman University’s Graduate Theology program.
