Other Ways to Give

Memorial/Honor Gifts

A memorial gift to Catholic Charities allows you to thoughtfully remember family and friends in a meaningful way to assist those in critical need of service and support.

Gifts to Catholic Charities made in honor of family and friends at times such as at the birth of a child or grandchild; or on a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or other notable occasions can be gifts of love that show how much you care.

Matching Gifts

An easy way to double or triple your gift to Catholic Charities is to ask your employer if they have an established matching gift program in place and whether or not social service agencies are eligible.

Planned Gifts

Consider one of the simplest and most rewarding gifts you can make to Catholic Charities: a bequest in your will or other estate plans.

Stock Gifts

A gift of marketable securities, which are otherwise subject to long-term capital gains is often advantageous.

IRA Charitable Rollover Gifts

If you are over the age of 70 ½, you must take a required minimum distribution from your IRA. For 2009 you can exclude up to $100,000 from your gross income for distributions made directly from your traditional IRA to a qualified charity.
