There are so many wonderful things happening in February regarding the Family Life and Natural Family Planning Office.
On Feb. 4 the diocesan  office will move from its current location at 1515 S. Clifton into a new office space east of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in the St. Joseph Pastoral Center at 437 N. Topeka. The office is also getting a new name, the Office of Marriage and Family Life, and another ministry, Harvest House will be now be part of the office.
All of the ministries currently overseen by the  Office of Marriage and Family Life, Natural Family Planning, Marriage Encounter, Beginning Experience, Coping, Courage, EnCourage, Engaged Encounter, FAMILIA, God’s Plan for a Joy Filled Marriage, Spanish Marriage Encounter, Retrouvaille, Talitha Koum, and That Man is You – will continue to serve the diocesan family.
After Feb. 4, all of the ministries may be contacted by calling (316) 685-5240.
All the work is being done in anticipation of yet another change. On March 1 the Office of Marriage and Family Life will welcome its new director, Jake Samour, from the ArchDiocese of San Antonio, Texas.
Until his arrival, I will serve as the office’s interim coordinator.
