St. Therese Girls Club hosting all-you-can-eat dinner Sunday
The St. Therese Girls Club at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Wichita, is hosting its seventh annual All You Can Eat Spaghetti Dinner Sunday, Feb. 19.
It will be served from 10:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. in St. Clare Hall.
The spaghetti dinner includes breadsticks, a vegetable, a drink, and dessert, which includes homemade pies.
The cost is $5 for persons 12 and older, $3 for children ages 4 through 11, and free for 3 year olds and younger. The immediate family maximum price is $25. Take-outs are welcome.
Proceeds will help pay for Totus Tuus, Steubenville, and other activities.

Newton school fun run Saturday, March 3
NEWTON – St. Mary’s School 2 Mile Fun Run will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday March 3, at Camp Hawk, 1801 Southwest 36th St.
Registration will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. The cost is $15 for adults, and $10 for youth 18 and under. Snacks and water will be provided.

St. Jude Boy Scouts to host Ham and Bean Dinner on Feb. 18
Boy Scout Troop 420 is hosting its 31st Annual Ham and Bean Dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 at St. Jude School cafeteria.
The dinner will feature ham and bean or vegetable beef soups, corn bread, dessert and drink. Tickets are $5 for Adults, $3 for Children (under 12), Children 3 and under are free.

Young Adult Beginning Experience March 16-18
A Young Adult Beginning Experience Retreat will be held March 16-18 at the Spiritual Life Center, Wichita.
A YABE retreat helps participants deal with the loss of a parent due to divorce, separation, or death. It targets young adults ages 14 through 30.
The ministry is lead by peers who have been dealing with the same kind of loss and feelings.
Adults are present to aid in providing a safe environment, leadership as needed, and provide a parent’s point of view as to their loss and concerns.

Scout retreat March 3; religious emblem aps now being accepted
A retreat for Scouts working on the Pope Pius XII program is scheduled for Saturday, March 3. Pre-registration by March 1 is necessary.
The Catholic Committee on Scouting is also accepting applications for those youth working on religious emblems. The deadline is April 1.
The cost is $8 per application and includes the emblem and a photo taken at the annual Mass which is scheduled for June 10. Applications should be mailed to: Kathy Petr, 3128 Applewood, Wichita, KS 67220.

Serrans to present 6th grade Vocations Fairs March 1-2
The Serra Clubs of Wichita and Reno County will sponsor and host a Vocations Fair for all 6th grade Catholic school students on Thursday or Friday, March 1-2.
The Reno County Serra Club will host the Vocations Fair at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish School on Thursday March 1, in Hutchinson.
The Wichita Serra Clubs will host the Vocations Fair on Thursday March 1, at St. Patrick Parish School in Parsons, and at Magdalen Catholic School on Friday, March 2.
Students will hear from several priests and sisters about their discernment and call to religious life. They also will have vocation oriented games in the gym. This is always a real treat for the students. This Serra sponsored event is well received by the youth of our diocese.
