TEC weekend in Pittsburg scheduled for July 23-25
The Office of Youth & Young Adult Ministries is sponsoring a Teens Encounter Christ retreat the weekend of July 23-25 in Pittsburg.
The retreat is designed for juniors and seniors in high school or recent graduates but is also open to adults who work with youth in this age group. Students who will be juniors in the fall of 2011 are also eligible to attend a summer TEC.
TEC is an opportunity for teens to encounter Christ in a transforming and faith-filled way that many have never experienced before. Not only is TEC about faith, it is also about having fun and making friends from all around the Wichita diocese.
Participants will have the opportunity to grow in your relationship with Christ through talks, group discussion, individual reflection and prayer, sharing in the sacraments, and building lasting Christian friendships.

The cost for a TEC retreat is $70, which includes seven meals, two nights lodging, and all materials.

BCHS football camp set for July 25-28
WICHITA – Bishop Carroll High School will host its 17th annual non-contact football camp from 9 a.m. to noon July 25-28 for students entering the 2nd through the 8th grade.
The cost is $75. Many current and former Bishop Carroll Eagles currently playing at Division I and Division II colleges will help with the camp.
