The Lead Like Jesus Encounter being offered at Spiritual Life Center introduces a leadership approach that calls for them to be servants, stewards and shepherds. “Jesus uses and models all of these metaphors in teaching us how we should live and treat one another,” says Blake Wells, a certified facilitator.
“It engages one’s heart, head, hands and habits in the leadership process. And while it may begin in the heart, it can’t end there. Being an effective leader requires more than just good intentions. We focus on providing the knowledge, skills and habits needed to be an effective leader in every setting.”
Schedule for ‘Encounters’
The Spiritual Life Center will serve as host for three upcoming Leading Like Jesus Encounters. An all-day session will be held on Tuesday, July 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Encounter is also being offered in a series of four evening sessions beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7 from 7-9 p.m. Another daylong format Encounter will be offered on Saturday, Nov. 6.
