As we come together to support a vision for the future growth of our Diocese, you are invited to make a generous, sacrificial and proportional gift to the TOGETHER special appeal. This commitment can be fulfilled over a period of five years through monthly, quarterly or annual installments.

Because tax laws are always changing and each family’s situation is unique, you are encouraged to consult with family and financial advisors to determine the method of contribution most beneficial to you. Please remember that payments on pledges are deductible for income tax purposes as provided by law.

Cash

The most common method of making a charitable gift is contributing cash. Pledges can be paid over a period of five years using either check (payable to Catholic Diocese of Wichita), electronic fund transfer, credit card or debit card.

Securities and Real Estate

Stocks, bonds, real estate, artwork and other real property can be appropriate gifts. The Office of Development and Planned Giving will personally assist each donor with the transfer of any such assets. When making a stock gift, you can download an Authorization for Transfer of Gift Securities here.

Bequest

Money or property may be left by will to the TOGETHER special appeal as a specific amount or as a percentage of estate assets or as a primary or contingent beneficiary of a retirement plan {1.e. IRA, 401(K)}. To discuss making a planned gift, please contact the Office of Development and Planned Giving.

Corporate Matching Gifts

A matching gift program through your employer or board membership may allow you to increase the value of your gift.
