Helping seminarians — The St. Augustine Circle of the Daughters of Isabella donated $1,000 to the diocesan seminary burse Jan. 11. Re-Membering Church begins Feb. 11 at SVdP Parish, Andover
Re-Membering Church, a process for those who have felt alienated from the church and are considering returning, begins at Thursday, Feb. 11, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 123 N. Andover Rd., Andover.
The sessions begin at 7 p.m. and continues each Thursday through March 25.
Child care will be provided if previous arrangements are made by contacting the parish office 733-1423 or Margaret 733-1452.

St. Anthony Pro-Life Outreach fun night Saturday, Feb. 13
St. Anthony Parish’s Pro-Life Outreach is hosting its 10th annual Family Fun Night from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at St. Anthony Hall, Garden Plain.
Admission is a baby item or a donation at the door.
Since 2002, the ministry has helped 4,500 mothers and their babies by providing cribs, car seats, formula, clothes, blankets, bibs, diapers, bottles, monitors, strollers, and other items. Expectant mothers are referred by several agencies including: Catholic Charities, A Better Choice, Birthline, and Healthy Babies.
The ministry is looking for baby cribs made after 1970, five-point car seats, crib mattresses, formula, and diapers. To contribute or sponsor an event for the ministry call Don or Joann Leis at (316) 531-2965.

Award-winning blogger from SFA
Jean Heimann, who received an award for the Best Overall Pro-Life Blog in 2009 from the American Life League, is a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Wichita. It was reported Jan. 15 that she was from Resurrection Parish, Wichita.

St. Michael Parish, Mulvane, sausage supper Feb. 7
St. Michael’s Parish in Mulvane will host its annual Sausage Supper from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7.
Sausage, potatoes and gravy, sauerkraut, green beans, applesauce, dessert, and a drink will be served. The meal, prepared by the ladies of the Altar Society, will also be available for take out.
Prices are $7 for adults and teens, $4 for children ages 6-12, and $2 for children age 5 and under.
Proceeds from the dinner will go to support the Altar Society’s parish projects. Parish youth will also be hosting a cake booth and children’s games during the dinner to raise funds for their mission trip this summer.
St. Michael’s is located at 525 E. Main in Mulvane.

Valentine dinner, dance Feb. 13 at St. Anne Parish
The Cursillistas of St. Anne Parish, Wichita, are hosting a Valentine’s dinner and dance at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, in the gymnasium.
Italian food will be served. After dinner, the diners will dance to Mexican music.
Tickets are $30 per couple. For tickets, which are $30 per couple, call the parish office at (316) 522-2383. Only a limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
A flat screen TV and other prizes will be given away.

St. Jude Knights Valentine dinner, dance Feb. 13
WICHITA – The annual St. Jude Knights of Columbus Valentine’s dinner and dance will be held Saturday, Feb. 13.
The social hour will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., with a catered barbecue dinner beginning at 7:15 p.m.

Jon Graves of Totally Legal Sound will provide music. There will also be door prizes and drawings.

Dessert buffet Feb. 13 at St. Margaret Mary
WICHITA – St. Margaret Mary Parish is hosting “A Chocolate Affair Dessert Buffet” from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at 2635 S. Pattie St.
The event will help the faithful prepare for St. Valentine’s Day on Sunday.
Tickets are $5 at the door.

Knights to host breakfast Sunday, Jan. 24, in Moline
The Father Lies Knights of Columbus Council 14817 of Caney, Sedan, and Moline will host an all you can eat breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, at St. Mary’s Hall in Moline.
The cost is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children under 12.
