Youth speaker Dec. 13 at SVDP, Andover
A youth program, “The Beatles Had It Right,” with Phil Baniewicz will be presented from 6:30 to 9 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 13, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 123 N. Andover Rd., Andover.
The $5 admission includes dinner. All youth groups in Region IV are invited. 
Baniewicz is vice president of College Relations for Benedictine College in Atchison. Before joining Benedictine College, he was the President and CEO of LIFE TEEN, Inc., an international nonprofit organization he cofounded in 1985. He was involved in youth ministry for 23 years. During that time has spoken to thousands internationally on a variety of teen topics.

Mourning Light Mass set for Dec. 28 at SFA
WICHITA – The Mourning Light Ministry welcomes everyone to a special Memorial Mass for babies at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, in St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Christmas and the holidays can be a difficult time for families who have lost a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death.
Blessed mementos will be given out. A reception will follow.

Magdalen Advent concert Dec. 20
WICHITA –The Church of the Magdalen Chancel Choir, with brass, percussion, and organ, will present an Advent concert in the church at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20. Conductor Mark Laycock will be assisted by organist Shirley Wiebe.
The church is located at 12626 E. 21st Street N. in Wichita.
The group will sing three pieces for voices, brass, percussion, and organ.

Extra confession times next week at Cathedral
The schedule for confession has been extended in the weekdays leading up to Christmas at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for those who work in the Wichita downtown area.
Confessions will be heard from 7:30 to 7:55 a.m. Monday through Thursday; 10:30 to 11:55 Monday through Wednesday; and 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. On Thursday, Dec. 24, confessions will be heard from 7:30 to 7:55 a.m., 10 a.m. to noon, 4 to 4:45 p.m., and 6:30 to 7 p.m.
