Romance Night Feb. 13
The next Romance Night, an annual event sponsored by the diocesan Family Life Office, will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Church of the Resurrection, Wichita.

BE weekend Dec. 4-6
Beginning Experience, a weekend retreat to help the widowed or divorced make a new beginning in life will be held Dec. 4-6 at the Magnificat Retreat Center on the Sisters of St. Joseph Campus, in Wichita.

Reno County Serrans celebrate anniversary
The Serra Club of Reno County celebrated its 10th anniversary Tuesday, Oct. 27, with a Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Teresa Church, and later at a social hour and catered dinner at Holy Cross Parish.
The Most Rev. Eugene Gerber, bishop emeritus of the Diocese of Wichita, was the featured speaker. District Governor Fred Gorges also gave a few remarks.
Thirty members from the two Wichita Serra Clubs participated along with 18 local members and 16 guests.

CSJ Dear Neighbor Ministries to give holiday meal packages; donations needed
Dear Neighbor Ministries will again distribute food packages at Thanksgiving and Christmas to families in need in the Hilltop neighborhood, and to women and children in the StepStone program.
The average cost of each meal is $25. A portion of the money is set aside to provide Christmas gifts for families in need and for transportation assistance.
