Winfield Fall Festival Saturday, Nov. 7
WINFIELD – Holy Name Catholic School is hosting its annual Fall Festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Winfield Fairgrounds on West Ninth Street.
The festival includes bingo and carnival games for all ages from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and a raffle and silent auction as well as a craft fair from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A professional photographer will be available for family Christmas photos.

Singers sought for Advent concert
WICHITA – Experienced singers are invited to join the Church of the Magdalen Chancel Choir as they begin preparing selections for a special Advent concert at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20.
Practices begin Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 8 to 9 p.m., and will continue weekly until the performance.
The group will sing pieces for voices, brass, percussion, and organ.

Chuck Peters celebrating 90th birthday Nov. 15
Chuck Peters, a member of St. Anne Parish, Wichita, will be honored at a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at St. Anne’s Setter Hall.
Mr. Peters’ seven children are hosting the event.
He requests no gifts.

St. Patrick turkey bingo set for Nov. 8
WICHITA – The St. Patrick Altar Society will host its 29th Annual Turkey Bingo Sunday, Nov. 8, in the school cafeteria.
The doors open at 2 p.m. Bingo begins at 2:30. Twenty games will be played for 20 turkey certificates. Cake, pie, coffee, and soft drinks will be sold. The parish is located at 2007 N. Arkansas Ave.

Danville’s annual Thanksgiving dinner and sale Nov. 22
The Immaculate Conception Altar Guild of Danville will host its annual Thanksgiving Dinner and Country Store from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, in the church hall in Danville.
The dinner is $7 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under.

Waterloo pancake and sausage supper Nov. 7
St. Louis Parish, Waterloo, is hosting a pancake and sausage supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7.
The cost is $5 for adults, $2.50 for grade school students, and free for pre-schoolers.
